What we support

The foundation Menschen für Tiere (People for Animals) supports projects that make a positive contribution to animal welfare and nature conservation. The focus should be on working with children and young people in order to give the generation of tomorrow an understanding of nature and the animal world.

In addition, we support

• Animal supported activities in which sick, disabled or traumatised children and adolescents are supported in the area of social competence and social behaviour through the contact with animals of all kinds, companion animals and farm animals, under the pedagogical guidance of a social pedagogue.
• Projects aimed at improving the living conditions of species particularly worthy of protection
• Animal shelters and institutions similar to animal shelters in Germany and abroad, which in turn are recognised as charitable institutions
• Research fellowships in the field of animal welfare and nature
